Jag har mycket erfarenhet av att designa och skapa bakgrunder för animerade filmer.

Det jag arbetat som mest med är min egna kortfilm. Den tar plats i min hemstad Uppsala, fast med en gammal Disney-stil till det hela.

I have plenty of experience with making backgrounds used for animation.

The most I've worked with is on my short film. I want it to take place in my hometown of Uppsala but with a 40:s Disney-style to it.

Som sagt så ville jag att min film skulla ta plats i min hemstad Uppsala. Så jag började med att ta hundratals bilder av alla miljöer jag ville ha med. Många av scenerna var planerade att ske kring danspaviljongen i stadsparken, och många fler vid Fågelhuset vid Svandammen. Väl redo, så började jag ivrigt teckna fram scenerna jag hade tänkt mig, med bilderna som referens.

As stated I wanted my film to take place in my hometown. So I began by taking hundreds of pictures of the areas I wanted present in my film. Many of the scenes were supposed to be by a local Pavilion in the citypark and many more with a bridge crossing nearby. Once i was satisfied, I then began sketching out the scenes by hand using the pictures i took as reference.

En av de mest intensiva scenerna i min film är av ett dansgolv i paviljongen där det är ett hav av folk. Alla dansar vilt tillsammans. Jag ägnade många veckor åt at designa scenen. Hur kunde jag uttrycka och animera hur galet alla dansar? Efter många försök var jag mycket nöjd med resultatet och hela scenen kom till liv

On of the biggest scenes of my film is of a dancefloor at a pavilion that is overflowing with people. All of them dancing wildly. I spent many weeks slowly going through the design of this scene, and how to show and animate the intensity of the crowd as best I could. Until finally I was satisfied and made the whole floor come alive.

När jag studerade hos CG Spectrum var ett av mina uppdrag att göra en egen pantomim. Jag fick idéen om en historia som handlar om en ung scout som går vilse i skogen. Inspiration hämtade jag från animationerna av Birdbox Studios. Bilderna ovan är bakgrunderna jag skapade inför filmen

During my time studying at CG Spectrum I got the assignment to make my own pantomime. I made it with the story of a young boyscout who loses his way in the forest, and in a style inspire by Birdbox Studios animations. The pictures above is of the background I made for the film.
